Destination Toledo Spring Break Contest Rules

CONTEST PERIOD: Starts on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 at 8:00 AM EST and the deadline to enter the contest is on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.

ELIGIBILITY: This is a Mix 102.7 WCPZ station contest. The contest is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in Sandusky, Erie, Seneca, Huron, Ottawa, or Lorain counties in Ohio, all within Mix 102.7 WCPZ’s listening areas. Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and their immediate family members of the sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and employees of other media organizations are not eligible to enter. By participating, each entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these official contest rules.

HOW TO ENTER: From March 2nd, 2026 at 8:00 AM EST to Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST, participants can sign up on mix1027.com by going to the ‘Spring Break Contest’ page under the ‘Contest’ tab and filling out the entry form. In the entry form, listeners will tell us why they need a spring break getaway in Toledo. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entries may be submitted online through the official contest entry form or by mailing a postcard including your full name, address, phone number, email, and why you need a spring break getaway to BAS Broadcasting & Digital, Attn: Contest Entries, 1640 Cleveland Road, Sandusky, OH 44870. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. On Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, we will announce the winner on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and air Troy Baumgartner calling the winner on Mix 102.7 WCPZ during the Morning Mix. Please note: The station address may change during the contest period; any such change will be announced. All entries, regardless of method, have an equal chance of winning. Duplicates, copies, and other mechanical reproductions are not permitted. Illegible, mutilated, unintelligible, or incomplete entries will be disqualified. The number of entries per person is limited to one (1) for the duration of the contest period.

PRIZE(S) DESCRIPTION: The randomly selected winner will receive the following:

Overnight stay at Maumee Bay Lodge
4 passes to the National Museum of the Great Lakes
4 passes to the Toledo Zoo
A gift card to Mainstreet Ventures Restaurant Group
A gift card to Jupmode
A Toledo gift basket

Total prize package value = $550

CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS: Unless otherwise stated, prize packages do not include travel, lodging, meals, or any other incidental expenses. All such costs are the sole financial responsibility of the winner. BAS Broadcasting & Digital assumes no liability and will not provide reimbursement for any travel, accommodations, food, or related expenses incurred in connection with claiming or using the prize. In the event that any games, events, or activities associated with the prize are cancelled or rescheduled, BAS Broadcasting & Digital is not responsible and will not provide cash or alternative prizes in place of the cancelled event. No cash or prize substitutions are allowed, and all prizes will be awarded as described. Limit of one prize per person/family.

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: One winner will be selected at the end of the entry period. Of those that entered and told us why they need a spring break getaway in Toledo, one winner will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries by BAS Broadcasting & Digital’s Production/Promotions Manager, Audra Sennish. The winner will be randomly selected on Monday, March 23rd, 2026. The winner will be notified by phone by 12:00 PM EST on Monday, March 23rd, 2026. The win will be announced on-air and online on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. If the selected winner cannot be contacted within 30 days, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize or return a completed affidavit and release as required, an alternate winner will be chosen from the remaining eligible entries. All winners must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and/or a publicity and liability release, unless prohibited by law. Winner must pick up prize package in-person at 1640 Cleveland Road in Sandusky, OH.

CONDITIONS: The sponsor, including its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotion agencies, shall not be responsible or liable for late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, or for any telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions or failures. The sponsor is also not responsible for any conditions or events beyond its control that may disrupt or corrupt the contest, including injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize, participation in the contest, or by acceptance, possession, or use of a prize. Any printing or typographical errors in contest materials are also the responsibility of the entrant, not the sponsor. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Taxes on all prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the Official Rules. By entering this contest, the winner representative acknowledges that WCPZ/BAS Broadcasting, and all other sponsors and venues, have the right to publicize and broadcast each winner representative’s name, voice, and likeness, the fact that he or she won, and all matters incidental thereto.

Disputes: These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, with venue in Sandusky, Erie, Seneca, Huron, Ottawa, or Lorain counties. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
