MIXBOT 1027 CONTEST RULES
CONTEST PERIOD: The MIXBOT 1027 contest is a recurring weekday on-air contest. Each daily contest begins when announced on-air at approximately 8:30 AM EST during The Morning Mix with Troy Baumgartner and concludes once a winner is determined for that day. The station reserves the right to suspend the contest on holidays or days when the Morning Mix does not air.
ELIGIBILITY: This is a Mix 102.7 WCPZ station contest. The contest is open only to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older and who reside within Mix 102.7 WCPZ’s listening area. Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and their immediate family members or household members of the sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, prize sponsors, and employees of other media organizations are not eligible to enter. Winners of any Mix 102.7 on-air contest are not eligible to win another Mix 102.7 contest prize within thirty (30) days. By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these official contest rules.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To participate, listeners must call the studio phone number (419-621-1027 or 800-589-1027) announced on-air when prompted during the contest segment. Troy Baumgartner will select a caller (typically a designated caller number). Selected participants must be able to come on-air live and respond immediately. If a caller is disconnected, cannot be heard clearly, fails to answer trivia or game prompts, or cannot continue for any reason, the station may select another caller. Use of auto-dialers, bots, or mechanical reproduction of calls is prohibited.
GAME PLAY: The selected caller will participate in the “Game of the Day,” which may vary. Rules for each specific game will be explained on-air before play begins. Decisions of the show host(s) and station judges are final and binding.
PRIZE(S) DESCRIPTIONS: Prizes vary daily and may include gift cards, event tickets, attraction passes, merchandise, promotional items, or other sponsor-provided items. Specific prize details will be announced on-air. Prizes have no cash value unless otherwise stated, cannot be transferred, and may not be substituted or exchanged. The station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS: Unless otherwise stated, prize packages do not include travel, lodging, meals, or any other incidental expenses. All such costs are the sole financial responsibility of the winner. BAS Broadcasting & Digital assumes no liability and will not provide reimbursement for expenses incurred in connection with claiming or using a prize. In the event any event or activity associated with a prize is cancelled or rescheduled, BAS Broadcasting & Digital is not responsible and will not provide cash or substitute prizes.
WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: Winners are selected on-air from eligible callers at the time of the contest. Odds of winning depend on the number of listeners calling in and successfully participating. Winners may be required to provide valid photo identification and complete an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release before receiving a prize. Prizes must be picked up at the station at 1640 Cleveland Road, Sandusky, Ohio, during regular business hours unless otherwise arranged. Failure to claim a prize within thirty (30) days may result in forfeiture.
FURTHER CONDITIONS: The sponsor, including its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotion agencies, shall not be responsible or liable for telephone issues, dropped calls, signal problems, electronic malfunctions, or technical failures of any kind. The sponsor is not responsible for any conditions beyond its control that may disrupt or corrupt the contest, including injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the contest or by acceptance, possession, or use of a prize. Printing or typographical errors in contest materials are not the responsibility of the sponsor. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Taxes on all prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. By entering this contest, participants grant Mix 102.7 WCPZ and BAS Broadcasting & Digital the right to publicize and broadcast each winner’s name, voice, and likeness, and the fact that he or she won, without additional compensation.
