Brutus was rescued by Fido’s Companion Rescue and is around 14 Yrs old and weighs 52 Lbs. Original records state he is a Rottweiler/Timber Wolf mix and Fido’s had him as a Shepherd mix. Our Alpha Dog Morning Mix Mutt lived most of his life in an outdoor kennel in deplorable conditions. It was discovered that Brutus is heartworm positive, but it is unlikely he would survive heartworm treatment due to his age. But ISHAS is keeping him on preventative meds so the condition does not progress. Either way, he is a handsome gentleman with a few skin issues, but he has a calming effect on all the larger breed dogs because he does not react to them he just wants to wag his tail and be friends with all.
