Meet Cass
Cass is about a year old and came from a home that started with just a few unfixed dogs before things got out of hand. His owner tried their best but became overwhelmed, so Cass and his friends came to us. He was shy at first, but one of our staff members gained his trust with daily “pup cup” visits and eventually fostered him to continue his progress. Unfortunately, Cass found a weak spot in the fence and went on an 18-day adventure! His “charges” included Evading Arrest, Indecent Exposure, and Theft of Scraps and Cat Food. Thanks to the neighborhoods of Hunter’s Glen, Westwind, and Amber Way, and our tireless staff, he’s safely back. Now Cass is ready for a home with a secure fence and someone experienced with shy or undersocialized dogs. He loves other dogs and would thrive with a friendly companion to help him feel safe and loved. You can meet Cass at the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave in Norwalk, 419-663-7158.
